I've recently posted on PAS site but this is my first post here. I've just requested a private thyroid panel as now three GPs at my practice are refusing to send me for additional thyroid tests. TSH was 3.07, sadly non fasting as GP took my blood at appointment as blood nurse was off sick.
In meantime, does anyone have knowledge or experience of low phosphate and low lymphocyte count? Surgery has marked my results as "no further action" and I forgot to ask GP last night.
Phosphate 0.75 mmol/L (0.8 - 1.5)
Lymphocyte 1.4 (1.5 - 4.0)
When I've googled, mentions vitamin D deficiency. Mine was 70 mmol back in October. Have been taking all the cofactors. MCH is over range still at 33.3 pg (27.0-32.0). Have been self injecting B12 for 3 months (balance and swimming head much improved). (Have also posted today on PAS site).
Fatigue still the worst symptom. I now struggle to do anything around the house. I can still walk and cycle as long as I don't encounter any hills! GP last night referred me to chest clinic as she said there is a condition that causes slow breathing (yes, under active thyroid! Fell on deaf ears.......). Most days I feel like I'm suffocating and have to take a deep breath every so many breaths. At rest, my breathing rate is only about 6 or 7 breaths per minute.
Many thanks 😀

NHS won't usually diagnose hypothyroidism until TSH is over range or FT4 below range. Post your private thyroid results and ranges in a new question and members will advise.
I was thinking the same from what I've read about Vitamin D. I'm taking a cheaper one but read I need to buy soft gel ones with K2 but struggling to find some. GP informed me that NHS only test vitamin D every 2-3 years.
Calcium was checked and was in the middle of the range so hopefully parathyroid not an issue.
Yes will post my thyroid readings once I have them. Thanks for the links.
My vitD is tested annually on the NHS and others are tested biannually. Don't know where your GP gets every 2-3 years from. If GP won't test you can get a vitD hometest from City Assays for £28 via thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/testin...
Finish up the tablets you have and then buy softgel capsules. The fatty oil will aid absorption of D3. Amazon is a good place to buy D3 and K2-MK7. If you buy on Amazon please use the affiliate link healthunlocked.com/thyroidu...
Mid-range calcium seems to rule out hypo and hyper parathyroidism.
