I finally have another appointment with an endocrinologist, the first was 25 years ago when I was diagnosed as a teenager.
What I'm hoping to achieve is a trial of T3 although I know the chances are slim. I am hoping for advice, buzz words etc, anything that will make me stand out from all the other over weight 40 somethings he sees on a regular basis. If anyone knows of any reputable articles in favour of T3 I would be very interested. I'd like to be able to counter any arguments he may have with evidence.
Thank you in advance.

Can you add your most recent Thyroid test results and ranges - TSH, FT3 and FT4
Plus vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12
What supplements do you take?
You have Hashimoto's so are you on strictly gluten free diet
Presumably you are taking full blood tests along to consultation
All thyroid tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and fasting and don't take Levo in the 24 hours prior to test This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip, GP will be unaware)
