What to ask at my Endo appointment?

Hi, going to see the Endo next week and wondered what Q's I should be asking and what I should be saying etc.. any tips would be great

I would take a copy of the signs and symptoms from the main site, with those that you have highlighted. Make sure you are specific about how these symptoms are different to how you normally feel and get a copy put in your notes. It might not make any difference but at least it will be documented. I have found symptoms are the last thing they look at!! Good luck xx

Thanks, I hope they do look at my symptoms as my TSH is "normal" but T3 and T4 borderling Hypo. I will do that

Good grief, I think I have 80% of these symptoms.

I also have many of the B12 deficiency symptoms. I have just done a list and I am going to leave it with my GP to get me a new set of bloods. Currently on my list are:-

B12

Ferritin

Folate

Iron

Vit D

TSH

T4

T3

Anti-TPO

Anti-Tg

Anyone think of something I missed?!

I think your whole system is so intertwined, that everything needs to be good to make it all work properly. Looks like a good list, hope they do them all for you x

Exactly. I think doctors need to start thinking much more holistically.

my gp did some of these, but reluctantly - labs wont do the T3 easily either
