Northern ireland private blood tests ?

Anyone know where in Northern Ireland i can get private blood tests. Dont want to see dr. Just want bloods done. To monitor thyroid as gp wont do it all. Medichecks r out they no longer havr a clinic. Dont want the finger prick or the home visits from nurses or people from company.

Hello jump1,

Getting private blood tests done in NI is very difficult. I’ve been around the houses with that one. My GP refused to let me have that done at my local surgery even when I said I was prepared to pay. I eventually ended up persuading him that I needed referred to an endocrinologist when he admitted he had no knowledge of the DIO2 result.

Upon referral to the endocrinologist/s whom I pay for. I occasionally ask the clinic with the Endo’s permission to get relevant blood tests done.

If you are able to find an easier and cheaper way please pm me. What I’ve found to be most helpful is accessing a Functional Nutritionist via Skype. Best Wishes.
