For the last 3 weeks or so I’ve been feeling increasingly depressed - no get up and go at all - tearful and irritable too.
Today it occurred to me that I’ve changed from Liothyronine Sodium to Liothyronine Hydrochloride and the timescale fits.

McMurtagh,
When you get your next prescription ask your pharmacist to dispense the make of Levothyroxine you previously had. If the pharmacist won't order the make you prefer ask for your prescription form back and take it elsewhere.
You can report the adverse effects from the Levothyroxine you are currently taking via yellowcard.mhra.gov.uk/
Hi Clutter
I spoke to the pharmacist today and she agreed to order Liothyronine Sodium for me once the GP re-issues the prescription.
I intend to go in on my way to work tomorrow morning to show her the brand I’ve been taking for the last 18 years or so.
Fortunately I have some 5mcg tabs which I intend to use in the meantime.
Fingers crossed that I’ll ‘emerge’ from my cocoon of misery soon
Before I report the effects I’ll wait to see if I perk up once I’m back on what I’m used to.
I would fill in a yellow card anyway as it happened regardless of what happens next.
