Tiromel or Thybon?

My endo wants me to change from Tiromel to German Thybon. What are your experience, which one is best?

The best is the one which suits you best. I don't find any difference mcg for mcg between Tiromel and Mercury Pharma T3 which I'm prescribed but I've not tried Thybon.

Ok, so if I'm taking 18,75 t3 in tiromel will I need to cut the pill off Thybon into 8ths then to get as close to 18,75 as possible? Or will 15 be the same as 18.75 in tiromel?

I doubt you will be able to cut the Thybon 20 into 8ths. You may have to decide on either 15mcg or 20mcg.

Don't get obsessed with exact numbers. What are the chances that you are currently taking exactly 18.75 every day? That you need exactly 18.75 every day? And what is your endo actually prescribing?

Is this so you can be charged for a private prescription as you can get Tiromel without one? Tiromel is 25mcg but I think Thybon is 20mcg. Thybon is slightly more expensive. The one to choose is the one that suits you best, but I'd examine motives for the change.
