Flu virus and just been sick, will it effect my meds?

Hi all i am feeling very poorly with this flu virus going around and have just been very sick-sorry too much information but if i take my carbimazole at 8.15 and have just been sick it wont effect it now will it?😧 Thankyou.xx

Patient.com says you should contact your doctor if you have any side effects with carbimazole with a virus infection - suggest you don't take it all as you have been sick.

Phoning nhs 24 might give you advice but contacting your doctor on sunday afternoon is just a joke!

Thankyou i will call gp tomorrow but it is not from the side effect of carbi it is flu as k has it aswell.xxx

Think you should miss a day whilst you are coughing and with congestion - the advice is for people taking carbi with flu - as K does not take carbi - it does not apply to her. These are side effects of the drug when you have flu.

It is not going to affect you if miss a day!
