My Gp has referred me to an endocrinologist. Thankfully there is a long waiting list and I can use this opportunity to now go private with my health insurance. My dilemma now is choosing one. I live in Leeds but happy to travel anyway needed. I ideally want to trail the natural desiccated thyroid so looking for someone to prescribe that.
Please private message me your experience of who is good and who to avoid.

Email dionne.fulcher@thyroiduk.org for a list of member recommended endocrinologists. You should contact individual endos to ascertain whether or not they prescribe NDT as many UK doctors do not. You may also need to check with your health insurer that the endo you wish to see is on their list of approved endos.
