ASHWAGANDHA FOR UNDERACTIVE THYROID

Does anyone take this alternative medicine for underactive thyroid ? I’m on T3 /T4

Ashwagandha is an herbal adoptogen. Some people use it for adrenals but it is not a natural alternative to T3+T4 for hypothyroidism.

Sorry I meant taking it alongside them as I’m suffering awful anxiety

Ajwag,

Oh right. If it helps with anxiety there's no reason not to take it as long as you take it at least 2 hours away from Levothyroxine and T3.
