Morning all

Has anyone been diagnosed with SIBO or being treated for it?

I have long suspected I have it and have now learnt there is link between it and being hypo.

Back in August I was given a course of ciprofloxacin as I needed to go to the loo many times in the day sometimes up to 7/8 but it wasn’t diarrhoea just urgent (sorry tmi) . Previous to this I have had digestive issues with things moving through too fast. This all settled after the antibiotics and i was diagnosed as hypo.

But recently seem to be getting the problem again and feel like i need antibiotics again. It has coincided with tsh shotting up from 1.79 to 30 and a dose increase of levo 50 to 75. Don’t know if it is related?

Have brought it up with the doctor before and he fobbed off my request for a sibo test.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Merry Christmas eve!
