Help in Germany
I'm sorry you've had no replies, RobinAnn.
You might do better to find a German thyroid forum to ask that question.
Thanks Clutter, I'm working on it but it's slow. I just spent the last 6 days in a German hospital. What a nightmare. I walked out without being released. Aside from the treatment they were/or were not giving me, the doctors kept freaking out about my thyroid blood levels. One doctor, while taking my medical history went so far as to try and rewrite my history saying I did not have hashimotos. He was looking at ft4 and tsh values - I only take t3. He was so unbelievably stupid. Last thing anyone needs when in hospital!!!
Yes every time. Mother tongue is English so at times I wonder if they think a) I must not be bright because I don't speak excellent German (it is good though) or b) they just don't understand my German but then a nurse will walk into the room and understand my every word. I feel like I'm talking to a brick. Any suggestions?
