Mjm192,
labtestsonline.org/understa... will explain the abnormal results in your full blood count.
Hi thank you how do they know results can they see them on my page also can anyone tell me please do I need medication for thyroid
Mjm192,
They can't see your results. The results flagged with a red asterisk are over range. There is a chart in the link which indicates what low and high results mean.
There are no thyroid results there so I can't tell whether or not you need medication.
Hi TSH level is 5.89 my/l
And T4 level is 24 pmol/l
Thanks
Mjm192,
Can you post the lab ref ranges for TSH and T4 (ranges are the figures in brackets after results) and say whether you are taking Levothyroxine?
Mjm192,
Do you have the lab ref range for the T4 result (the range is the figures in brackets after the result)?
And are you taking Levothyroxine?
Hi thank you I had to post results will be great full for your opinion feel so bad and no medication given as yet
Mjm192,
I need to see the lab ref range for FT4 24. It's the figures in brackets after the results.
TSH 5.89 is high and this is usually because FT4 is low. However, FT4 24 is usually which is why I need to see the lab ref range to be sure.
