NP thyroid

I switched from Armour thyroid to NP 6 months ago as Armour was not available and was also pricey. I have been having sty on my eyes one after another, acne, constipation, hard stools and heartburn since going on NP thyroid. My dr does not think that sty was due to NP but agreed to switch me BACK to Armour. I am hoping that My pharmacy has s good supply of Armour.

I think it unlikely the sty is related to changing to NP but it's possible the other symptoms are. I hope your symptoms improve when you are back on Armour.

Thanks, i am back on Armour and feel better. Ferritin level better since I increased vitamin D dose

Suzi,

Different brands can have different effects. That's why doctors and pharmacists shouldn't mess around switching brands unless they're not working for you.

It's iron, not vitD which improves ferritin.
