Hi all, me again can you advise me on whether to go and get new bloods now or wait another 2 weeks?
6 weeks ago i started a titration dose of carbi 10mgs as per advice from endo- went for blood tests at around 5th week but bloods got lost by hospital so i got more blood forms to go to hospital and also on saturday decided to start a dose of 7.5mgs feel rubbish again at moment.Endo rang today to say reduce to 5mgs now, my dilema is i really need to see where my bloods are at the moment has i have no idea or the endo but he said get them done in a couple of weeks when i have been on new 5mg dose but surely it would make sense to see where my levels are at now then start 5mg dose when ive done bloods, as it may give a false reading as new dose wont have been in my system for long.
Hope this makes sense. 😊

I should think that it is too early to see how you're doing on 7.5mg since Saturday. As you feel awful why not reduce dose to 5mg and see whether symptoms improve and have the blood test in a couple of weeks as your endo suggested?
Ok will do i feel my dose changes are felt pretty quick or it could be a hyper swing. I think i shall half the 5mgs into 2.5mg one morning and one early evening.😊 i do think im over medicated still and thats why i thought getmy bloods done just to see.
I know the feeling of wishing you could have blood tests when you want them to find out what's happening. You seem to have had some awful trouble with lost results, istn't it the second time that's happened? Too bad we can't do our own pinprick tests like diabetics do.
Yes it is the 2nd time now- still up feeling palpy, breathy again. Doc gave me new blood forms again but i am going to start 5mg diose tomorrow and then wait 2 weeks for bloids then i will see endo on 5th december.xx
