There have been two or three other posts today about this BIG news. Good that it's also on London News Twitter.... the more people who read it the better.
However, jimh111 has pointed out that Concordia are stating that their business is on the verge of bankruptcy. (or stashing funds offshore - more like, cynical old me)
Please write to The Project Director of this case at the CMA – Ronan Flanagan
'ronan.flanagan@cma.gsi.gov.uk'
Tell him that it is widely known amongst the Thyroid Community that Concordia are on the verge of bankruptcy, or alternatively are hiding their profits offshore.
Tell him that if the CMA does not progress this case very urgently, there will be no money or company to pursue and the NHS will not be reimbursed.
Also if that situation occurs, the price of Liothyronine will remain highly inflated.
I'm pleased to hear it's been news all over today. Because it's now on Central London News Twitter they are taking our problem seriously. So it should be mentioned on the tv news at 6pm tonight.
Concordia are not stating they are going bankrupt but their share price has collapsed and they are highly geared. I've no doubt they would like to continue in business but events may overtake them. See bloomberg.com/quote/CXR:CN for background information.
While Concordia is all over the news can we try and promote the ITT petition? I've added the link to the petition to all recent articles, which allowed posting of readers' comments: change.org/p/itt-campaign-g...
