Hi

I want to write to the BTA but their website appears to be down and nothing comes up for them at all. Does anyone have the postal address please?

Thanks, I may write to them too but it's the BTA I want now. They seem to have just vanished.

The British Thyroid Association appears to have vanished, and the only thing that comes up is the British Thyroid Foundation.

However, the BTA is a Charity and they can't "vanish themselves" from the Charity Commission website.

apps.charitycommission.gov....

They also appear in the internet archive :

web.archive.org/web/2017100...

Thanks humanbean. By clicking on the download our membership form I got an address. The odd thing is their email address is this which has btf in it. I thought they were a separate organisation. e-mail:bta-admin@btf-thyroid.org. Having just checked the address against Shaws for the BTF they are one and the same. My understanding is that the British Thyroid Association is an organisation for endocrinologists with a specific interest in the thyroid. The fact that the organisation and its website seems to have vanished off the internet will tell patients a lot about medical attitudes to, and interest in, the thyroid!

The British Thyroid Foundation is a partner organisation of the BTA and is intended to educate and support patients with a thyroid problem.

Both organisations are charities.
