Thanks - I didn't go further reading about him.

But bone issues have always been known! All sorts of interventions like forms of dentistry and trepanning as well as injuries directly revealed bone. It's quite possibly easier to compare bone that a lot of other tissue. A clear structure that retains lots of detail very well even if removed.

Simply because we try to make sure things are accurate, so far as we can, I have to point out that it seems Galileo was not excommunicated!

But I couldn't find a link that I was comfortable posting - too many had a religious background or were questionable in other ways, or simply didn't make the point quickly and accessibly. But a search will find lots...

The only way I could be sure that an estranged relative of mine that I care about was still alive and kicking, was by spying on his twitter tweets. Now I can't do that unless I sign up to Elons closed community. Elon will probably never know or care about the extent to which his childish need to make twitter into a secret society affects innocent individuals.

One person I follow who called out their “astonishing ignorance” and answered them with a fact that osteoporosis and other bone diseases had already been known about since 1844 quoting a paper published then on it actually got blocked for his trouble by this bunch…

So I retweeted his response and am waiting to see whether they’ll block me too! 🤣

The BTA has blocked ITT group on Twitter, after a few comments about their new consensus statement on T3. They seemed not to want to hear anything that did not agree with them
