I’ve started my 2nd week of Thyroid Gold. I’m adjusting but one thing that has me thrown is I’m 2 weeks from my cycle and my body is acting like its pregnant. I have symptoms I don’t have before my cycle. Extremely sore breaths (feels like I’m breastfeeding feeding sore) and tender, sore abdomen (ovary area) What the ? Why is this
happening?

I was the same on NDT (can't remember which but think it was thyro-gold), in addition to the swollen breasts I had a blood stained discharge almost like a mini-period....I'm in my seventies!!!! Stopped NDT and all cleared up, decided that levo was best for me.
Just shows how the whole hormone system is connected in some way! And of course different products affect us all differently. Can tell you I got a fright when it happened, I hadn't had any menopause symptoms or any "female" type things either but I was glad when it stopped
The whole endocrine system is closed, so there's a knock on effect when any are out of balance. This doesn't mention female hormones, but is still a fascinating read:
I reacted very badly to Thyro-Gold, but with burning skin & lips, rather than hormonal. I was perimenopausal & on HRT when I tried it, so can't directly compare my reaction to yours.
I think breast tenderness is usually due to progesterone dominance, so maybe you need some oestrogen, or getting your lady hormone levels checked out.
