Hi
It's been a while since I last posted on here, I wanted to wait in order to share my WP experience.
I began WP Thyroid in January this year; now 10 months in to the year and I am still on it.
I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism around 2002, up until 2011 I had been fine on Levothyroxine...then I began to get pain in my right hip, leg; I thought I had sciatica for years!
I was referred to Physio, got pulled about and made worse. Years into my experience I now know that my symptom was that of being hypothyroid.
Around 2011, I also began to get extreme muscle pains, swelling of my arms and a feeling like they were a 'dead weight'! My shoulder joints ached and I had such tremendous fatigue, brain fog and generally low mood. I couldn't walk and even getting ready tired me out for the day.
I began WP in January, and immediately I felt so much better. The T3 content worked immediately!
However, I have been in a sort of trial and error process.....I spoke to my Endo about how to take the medication, we decided that to take it in two doses because of the potency of the T3.
My experience this year and my rational for splitting was to see if I could help reduce my pain that is caused (in my case) by thyroid harmone.
At first I did 1.5 grains split into two, initially I felt ok especially in the body, my pain reduced. However, I got other symptoms, like nerve type pain in my neck, ribs, breasts, migraines.
To cut a long story short, I now take the whole lot in the morning; although I have some pain in the body, my mind and sense of well being has improved massively.
My pain is mostly when I am sitting; I cannot sit without a hot water bottle or ice in summer. I am perfectly fine walking.
I am now on 1.75 grains, if I take 2 grains my pelvic pain increases dramatically....I am hoping I have now found a decent optimum for my body.
May I saw a big thank you to Clutter, who I feel has been extremely helpful with sharing knowledge.
I hope this helps.
P.S: I recently got an order from my supplier (3 weeks ago) in America; however I understand from a post on this site that RCL labs are having problems accessing Raw material to produce WP and Nature-Thyroid.
