If anybody suffers as i do with this horrid problem I would love to hear how they cope on a daily basis. My medication doesn't help!

Perhaps you are not on correct dose

Post your latest thyroid tests and vitamin results too if you have them

Yes it is a possible cause. I am thinking my meds are the wrong type for my anxiety too. Citalopram 40 mg one per day. Useless!. Agoraphobia as Well. My doctor knows my problem, yet isn't listening to me. I'm getting worse every day. This has been going on for years.. robbed off with the wrong treatment. My life is just an existence. I need a second opinion but have no idea how to get one. I'm 62 years of age.

Giving up caffeine (tea, coffee, etc), good B complex supplementation, for example Bio-Strath, were quite helpful for me. Noticed that my anxiety is related to the periods of highest cortisol as shown in my saliva cortisol test results, hence, I am also experimenting with cortisol lowering herbs (adaptogens); Holy Basil seems to be helpful, but there are others.
