If you think you are over medicated it is the quickest way to ease symptoms... Of course if you are actually under medicate you will feel worse.. But it won't do you any harm.

Hi there, I may be stating the obvious, but how is your intake of Magnesium and Vitamin D? It has been shown that Magnesium helps to improve anxiety ( and if taken in the evening it helps you to go to sleep).

Vitamin D has also been shown to help with anxiety, in some cases it had the same effect as medication. Especially this time of the year when the sun is too low to produce sufficient Vitamin D, many people supplement with Vitamin D3. If you already take Vitamin D, maybe you need to increase the dosis (depending on your Vit D blood levels of course)?

Just some thought...

Welcome to our forum.

How long have you been medicating thyroid hormone replacement ?

Medicating too much or not enough can bring about anxiety and shakiness. Get thyroid hormone test results and post complete with ranges (numbers in brackets) for members to comment.

Medicating thyroid hormone replacement with inadequate iron can bring about anxiety and shakiness. Have you had ferritin levels checked ? ? ..

Are you optimal in Vit B12, Vit D and folate ?
