Thyroid t4 stays low but t3 high

I take wp thyroid. 2.5 grain divided per day 12hs apart. Breastfeeding.

My t4 stays at the bottom of range but t3 at the top.

My ferritin was very high last tested. But I was taking iron multi the day it was tested.

It's quite common to have low FT4 when taking NDT. As long as FT3 is good it is unimportant.

You should stop supplementing iron 7-14 days prior to testing iron or ferritin otherwise it is hard to determine whether ferritin is high due to you supplementing or due to inflammation or infection.
