Doseage.

Hi there.

Not sure if I’m just a sensitive soul but I was starting to feel pretty good on 2 tablets of 1 grain each NDT taken early morning. Feeling energetic and positive.

To make things simpler I ordered and started taking one 2 grain tablet again early morning. Now feeling tired and a little down.

Has any one else experienced this and could there be a difference in the makeup of a 2 grain tablet and two 1 grain tablets. Or am I just nuts.

Thanks.

Nick.

NickP1,

If you were you taking 2 x 1 grain together it seems that there may be a difference in how you absorb 1 x 2 grain dose. Perhaps something to do with the amount of fillers affecting absorption. Some members have reported being sensitive to different doses of the same brand Levothyroxine and NDT.

Nope. Don't run too low before restocking, there's currently a shortage of NatureThroid and WP stopthethyroidmadness.com/2...

I’d bought enough for 6 months plus now it seems I’ll have to order more of the 1 grain. FFS.

NickP1,

Try 1/2 a 2 grain tablet + 1 x 1 grain tablet and see whether it makes a difference.

NickP1,

If you can't get WP you may have to try another brand.

Any suggestions.

I tried NP thyroid. Not good.

I understand WP had the least amount of fillers.

I was going to go into a rant about how can companies play with your health etc etc. But not much point really.

I’m wondering if the 2 grain has less NDT in the two 1 grain, whether it’s worth increasing dose by 1/2. . Have the same feeling as being underdosed. Slow brain, lack of energy and drive.

NickP1,

That leaves NatureThroid which may also be in short supply, and Armour.

Oh, forgot Erfa, but that's also been hard to get hold of.

MrsAlice,

What dose dose it say on the bottle? 60-65mg is equivalent to 1 grain.

hi clutter,

it's 60mg. So basically 1 tablet=1 grain. Got it! Thanks 😆
