Terrible tinnitus

Hi had my next lot of bloods done tsh gone down to 2.95 can't remember rest of results but they are emailing them to me which I'll post. I have now been put on 50 mcg Levo alternating with 75 mcg. I've only just started this day one having terrible tinnitus and head pressure but I could feel this building before I started this dose. I'm beginning to wonder if there is something else going on.

Tinnitus can be a symptom of B12 deficiency. Many people with thyroid conditions are vitamin deficient, have you had them tested?

B12 ok think was around 550 but I feel very unwell not just the tinnitus unless I have a virus

Have you had folate, vit D and ferritin tested too? It does take time to adjust to Levothyroxine so give it time. If you feel worse you could try a different formulation of Levo. What type are you taking? You need to stick to one that suits you.

Have you changed brand or has the pharmacy mixed brands?

My vit d is 73 Ferrari now 81 not had folate done. Not changed brand of Levo it's blue and white packet mercury pharma

Ok, go make an appointment with your doctor and get them to check you out and do some more bloods. Make sure you get a copy of your other blood test results and post them here so people can help. From now on keep a copy of all your results.
