If GP says your over medicated, suggest to them that they retest and also test FT3 along side FT4 and only if this is over range would you consider lowering dose

All thyroid tests should be done as early as possible in morning and fasting and don't take Levo in the 24 hours prior to test, delay and take straight after.

What are you levels of vitamin D, folate ferritin and B12 like?

Thanks, I am taking vitamin D Iron and B12 tabets so I should be ok with that.

Ok I will suggest retest if he wants to lower dose, I think he will !

Did you have vitamin D, folate, B12 and ferritin before supplementing?

Been tested since. Important to do so, especially iron and B12

If you can't get full thyroid and vitamin testing from GP

Medichecks Thyroid plus ultra vitamin or Blue Horizon Thyroid plus eleven are the most popular choice. DIY finger prick test or option to pay extra for private blood draw. Both companies often have money off offers.
