Stomach acid/ pain

Had to visit doctors today, l have been experiencing pain in my throat and stomach but it doesn't feel like regular heartburn. The symptoms have been getting worse and frequently waking me up. Explained to G P that I was worried about taking anything that may not react well with levothyroxine. Could this be a side effect of underactive thyroid The outcome of consultation was ...... Stop drinking tea n coffee, stop snacking, . I said I would try to cut down as much as I can, so then I asked him again was there any connection to my thyroid problem. His answer Well I don't have time to go into that your endocrinologist will do that, oh and by the way did you watch the tv programme last night HOW TO STAY YOUNG ? Unbelievable !!!!!!!

Have you had vitamin levels tested - vitamin D, folate, B12 and ferritin

What are your thyroid test results
