TSH is 7.5 though both T3 and T4 are in range. What does that mean?

All depends on where in the range your levels of T4 and T3 are. If your T3 level is nearer to the lower end of the range, this is one explanation as to you why your TSH is relatively high and you may need to either adjust/increase your medication or seek a treatment if you are not on any thyroid replacement
Go4schuchi,
If this is the first abnormal TSH your GP may want to repeat the test in 2-3 months to rule out non-thyroidal illness such as a virus or infection elevating TSH.
If this is not the first abnormal TSH result, TSH between 5 - 10 with FT4 and FT3 within range means you have subclinical primary hypothyroidism. If you are symptomatic your GP should prescribe Levothyroxine.
