I have recenty had my thyroid removed due to having a lump on the right side of my thyroid which turned out to be cancer. They aldo decided to take the left side out and I found I also had cancer there. I am waiting to hear back from Christies yet but I was wondering if anyone else felt like this. When I wake up in the morning - early about 4/5 o'clock I feel very hot and sticky and I feel like my veins are hot and the blood is bubbling inside . It is only after I take my levothyroxine about 6.30 a.m. and waited a while things seem to settle a bit. Is this normal as it is an awful feeling every morning - as though something is missing to calm things down . I am new to this thyroid thing and no consultant has explained to me. I was on 150 levothyroxine and recently changed to 125mg as I was in the high range at 30 whatever that is as agasin not explained. Sorry to have to ask you and |I have no blood results. Next time I will be prepared. Is there any thing that I can read up on that might help or any advise. I have rheumatoid and fibromyalgia as well as oesteo now this is an add thing to my list. - Thank you

Ardea,
I've had my thyroid removed and haven't experienced the waking symptoms you describe. Perhaps you could take your Levothyroxine at bedtime and see if that makes a difference.
