Endo Handed My Care Back to GP.

Have seen an excellent endo throughout this year, he has supported me having T3 prescribed due to conversion issues. Now he feels I am stable on 50mcg T4 & 20mcg T3. He has written to my GP stating that both symptomatically & clinically T3 has worked for me & he recommends it to be continued with blood tests twice a year. My TSH hovers between 0.05-0.1 , he has stated this is a reduced TSH not surpressed and adequate as long as my T3 remains at top end of the range. I think he has covered all aspects, well I hope so? His final comment to the GP, I am handing this patient back into your capable hands! We will see. I am ready for any battle that may float my way.

That's brilliant Shelley I hope things continue to go well. Did you ever get your online record with test results?

Sounds good Shelley1954 I hope your GP is on board and will continue to prescribe your T3, your endo has certainly given you the evidence you need.

That's fantastic that someone has taken t3 seriously! I am About to enter NHS Endocrinologist after poor experience with private clinic in London and I am very nervous about what I will encounter! Are you Gloucester based? 😊

That's what I will be doing once my GP has done the referral. Do you know the name of your Endo?
