Do you have the ranges for the results as labs differ and it makes it easier to respond. To edit your post press the down arrow along from Follow Post and select edit. you can then enter these. You have the ranges for the last three.

Riyad55,

TSH above range and FT4 below range means you are overtly hypothyroid and should be taking thyroid replacement.

Thyroid peroxidase antibodies are positive for autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's). There is no cure for Hashimoto's which causes 90% of hypothyroidism. Levothyroxine treatment is for the low thyroid levels it causes. Many people have found that 100% gluten-free diet is helpful in reducing Hashi flares, symptoms and eventually antibodies.

Vitamin and mineral test results were adequate.

Why has it taken a year for you to obtain your results? Have you been having thyroid replacement during the past year? If that is the most recent thyroid test you have had it is time and more that you have a new thyroid test.

This is my recent tests. I was on thyroid replacement for last 1 year (25 microgram). Lot of thanks for your valuable information.

Riyad55,

You are undermedicated. Ask your GP to increase Levothyroxine dose.

The goal of Levothyroxine is to restore the patient to euthyroid status. For most patients that will be when TSH is 0.47 - 1.0 with FT4 in the upper range. FT4 needs to be in the upper range in order that sufficient T3 is converted. Read Treatment Options in thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/about_... Email louise.roberts@thyroiduk.org if you would like a copy of the Pulse article to show your GP.

You should have a follow up thyroid test 6-8 weeks after increasing dose in case further adjustment is required. Arrange an early morning and fasting (water only) blood draw when TSH is highest, and take Levothyroxine after your blood draw.
