Forgot to bring Thyroxine tablets

I am abroad and had my tabs for first week and have none for a week. This has never happened b4. What will happen I am on 75mg a day. Pamela 😔

Where are you? I did the same in France. And surprisingly enough you can buy them. They call your GP to confirm & then give you your meds. I forgot ALL of mine! 😬xx

I am here for 2wks made them up on different days only found out this morning. I will try pharmacy have my prescription. Hope they are not expensive. What did u do? I am on 14different tabs glad only one. Pamela xxx

Actually they weren't as much as thought! Think about £10. I had 5 different medications that I had forgotten. They were so helpful. I didn't even have a box with details. They used their phone and I called Dr and all was sorted over the phone with receptionist. Didn't even need to speak with dr. Good luck and enjoy your holiday xx

Ask at a pharmacy for the dose you were taking. If you have the empty pack show it to the pharmacist. If you can't get any, just double the dose each day for a week after you get home.

Are you in the EU?

Many EU pharmacies will dispense against prescriptions from other EU countries. You might not need or want to do that, but it might be an option.

Got them from pharmacy had repeat prescriptions with me.
