Hi I have been on levothyrox for 25 years without any problems but since they gave me the new one in march I have had bad headaches constant sneezing I am very tired all the time and my blood pressure has gone up for the first time in my life does anybody else have these symptoms

If it is the same make of levo you always get. ask Chemist to check with pharmaceutical company if they've made some change.. I think there must be something as I doubt after 25years you'd suddenly have a headache.

Sometimes manufacturers change a 'little' something but it might be enough to affect us.

Your pharmacist should give you another make to see if that suits you.

Did they change your brand and give you Teva? Many people have had problems with Teva. Ask to go back to your usual brand and if it is Teva then do a Yellow Card report yellowcard.mhra.gov.uk/

I have always had teva but they have changed it

Well it looks like the Teva may suit you and something in the new brand doesn't. Ask to go back on Teva and see if the symptoms clear up. If they do, ask to be kept on Teva and report the new tablets under the Yellow Card scheme.

What make did you have between Teva being withdrawn in about 2013 and its re-introduction in 2016?

What country are you in? Levothyrox is the name of French levothyroxine. Are you in France?

If there other brands of Levothyroxine available in France ask your pharmacist to switch you to another.
