I was given these results by the Dr in the hospital. She told me everything was fine and sent me on my way. They don't make sense to me and was wondering if anyone could help me?
TSH 0.57
T4 10.4
Prolactin :105

Could you please post the laboratory ranges next to each of your results. Lab ranges vary so we need to see them to make sense of your results, thank you. You can edit your post by pressing the down arrow under your post and selecting the edit option.
Hi Nanaedake, these were my online results from Medichecks. I am not sure if there is anything worth pursuing here? As I have said, I suffer from aspergers so find a lot of this quite confusing so any help would be most appreciated. Many thanks. xx

I'm sorry, but she never gave them to me. I did ask for all the information but she was so stuck up and said that was all I needed
Thyroiditis86 Well, the TSH looks OK but who knows about the FT4. It looks low but we don't know what the reference range is so can't accurately comment.
Reference ranges need to be posted as well as results, ranges vary from lab to lab.
Also, to get a complete thyroid picture you also need FT3, TPO antbodies and TG antibodies tested.
If your GP/Endo wont do the other tests, maybe do a private fingerprick test with Blue Horizon or Medichecks.
Can't help with prolactin, sorry.
Are these companies UK based? Did you do the same? Thank you. x
Yes, UK based and many of us on the forum use them. They do both fingerprick tests to do at home, or you can organise a venous blood draw.
For a full thyroid picture plus vitamins and minerals (always useful)
bluehorizonmedicals.co.uk/t...
medichecks.com/thyroid-func...
For full thyroid tests without vitamins and minerals
bluehorizonmedicals.co.uk/t...
Which one would you choose? I am thinking of this one: medichecks.com/thyroid-func...
They are both the same, right? x
