Do high antibodies always mean Hashi's?

My antibodies are showing as 608. Does this automatically mean Hashi's? Bit puzzled. Got 2 mysterious lumps, one on thyroid , one on lymph node, both showing on ultrasound as having the same cell consistensies. Any ideas?

Not many people out there put there full name. Just in case there doctors check up on you. That's why most people have screen names.

Cannot see docs who cannot read papers you give them trying to find patients on these forums. But I think an alias is best for privacy.

You have got Hashimotos or Hashis due to your raised antibodies. Most docs in UK ignore them even though they can have a profound affect on health. They don't know what to do about them! Suggest a dose increase as your TSH is over one, T3 and T4 are too low in their ranges. Also try a gluten free diet to help reduce antibodies, made a big difference to me. Also have you had levels of Vit B12, folate, Vit D, iron and ferritin checked. Usually with Hashis there are absorption problems and low readings for vits etc won't help with your recovery. I permanently have to take B12, B complex and Vit D with Vit K or else my levels end up in my boots! Docs know nothing about nutrition. Don't bother with coeliac test either, it's not accurate and you can be very gluten sensitive and still show a negative test result! Seaside Susie on here is very good with info about vits etc and dosages.

I would be chuffed if my doc checked up on me! She might learn something lol, she can barely find the time to let me sit down when I can get an appointment!

Yes, you dot have Hashimotos. You've also got room for quite a bit of dose increase, as your freeT3 is quite low. The rule of thumb is you want it in the top third of the range, that's over about 5.5.

Apologies LindsayDawson, I didn't realise you weren't on any hormone replacement.

The interpretation of the freeT3 isn't the same as you're not. I don't know too much about healthy blood tests, but I think this thyroid profile is more or less okay.
