Private Endocrinologist

Hi everyone. Please can someone help, I feel like I'm at my wits end with all this now and don't know what to do next. I sent my GP referral letter to the private endocrinologist for my low cortisol level and new symptoms and have now been told by them that it'll be at least a few weeks until I'm seen even for a private consultation. I thought by going private that I would cut out the waiting but i'm obviously wrong. Is this normal? Should I go to a different endocrinologist? Thanks in advance, I'm just sick of feeling poorly now.

I would expect all good endocrinologists to have some sort of a waiting list. Email [e-mail] for a list of member recommended endocrinologists to see whether there is someone you can see sooner.
