Changing brand of T3

Hi. I self medicate T3 as a top up to what my Endo prescribes.

I buy it myself. My supplier has changed meaning the brand has changed.

Is this going to cause a problem for me when I switch?

Cheers

I found Grossman Cynomel stronger than Unipharma and take less, so there could be a difference in strength with yours.

Hummmmm and I guess only taking it will tell?!

Only possible issues I can foresee are:

Whether 25mcg pills or 20mcg pills so breaking them down to get the dose you want. This may also be a little random in potency as to how the liothyronine is distributed throughout the pills.

The fillers/binders used in the medication. Whether you are allergic to anything for example lactose which may be in the pills. Different binders and fillers may change the uptake of the medication within your body.

How close to the expiration date the product is and how it has been stored.

Some of the above are really general and a bit nitpicking. You probably know them anyway.

Unless you have major allergies, just be sensible with making any dose adjustments should you deem them necessary.

Both are 25 tablets and the new ones have a score line which is better.

Thank you for helping 😊
