It's dated October 2013. I did read through it but a load of gobbledegook to be honest and didn't understand it! There is a new pharma company apparently starting to manufacture Liothyronine - Morningside Pharma. I'm considering writing to them to warn them they need to seriously consider their prices if they want to sell via the NHS.
It's not gobbeldegook. This is still happening with branded meds. The NHS are purchasing at one price and so called being reimbursed by the pharma companies. If it looks like a scam and smells like a scam it probably is a scam. Just type in 'nhs rebate schemes' and see what you come up with. Doesn't apply to generic meds.
Hi #marigold 22 it is confusing. So after more research have found Rebate Scheme Process - Derbyshire Medicines Management May 2017 or Pharmaceutical rebate scheme principles 5 Nov 2016. So #Clutter could T3 conceiveably become part of this scheme. If the CCGs were receiving a rebate they might be more inclined to prescribe T3. At present only branded meds fall under this scheme I think from what I've read
