How much does ft4 usually increase if you increase your dose of levothyroxine by 25mcg?
Could you please tell me your experience?

Sorry, could you correct your post, please? It doesn't make a lot of sense. Who is Ann?
If you are asking by how much 25 mcg is likely to raise the FT4, the answer is : not a lot. But, that does depend if that is your dose, or if that is just and increase.
I too am confused.

Sorry, used my phone and sometimes it goes haywire...
"But, that does depend if that is your dose, or if that is just and increase."
How does it matter? Is it smaller and smaller changes in ft4 the closer to your optional dose or the other way around?
What I meant is, if your doctor puts you on a starter dose of 25 mcg, it's probably not going to make much difference at all. But, if your FT4 is up near the top of the range, then 25 mcg might be all you need to optimise your FT4. It will still be only a small rise, but all things are relative.
How big a rise depends on the person, I think. I don't think there's been any research on the subject, so I can't give you absolute figures. It also depends on how much of that 25 mcg you can absorb. I don't think anyone ever absorbs their entire dose.
Ok, thanks. Do you know if it's likely for ft4 to rise from 15.4 to 19.8 on 25mcg extra?
