I could swear I saw a notice on this website about hooking up with fellow sufferers in the local area, but I can't find anything about it now. Did I imagine this- lol?!

You might have read about the "People near me" option on HU.

There is little information about it in the Help section. This is the only directly related question I found on the subject, and its telling you how to opt out, not how to opt in!

Click on your username on the HU banner top of page and select Newsfeed. There is a Connect with Others post top right of Newsfeed page. Click on it to be introduced to 5-9 others who've joined it.

If you put 'support group' into the search bar several pages come up. Or you can email Louise for a list of local groups.
