On correct dose

Hi I am new and I have recently been told I am on the correct dose of medication, I take 125mcg levothyroxine and 10mcg T3 and I was diagnosed in 2012. So why I continue to have symptoms of undermedication I do not know. Dizzy spells joint pains feeling cold hair loss dry skin and most recently weight gain. Any advice would be appreciated thank you.

In order to know if you are on an optimal dose of medication you need to know your blood results and where in range they are. Ideally this should include TSH, ft3, ft4, vit d vit b 12, ferritin and folate. If you have recent blood results please post in a new thread then members can advise if your symptoms are likely to be due to hypothyroid. Many gps are happy with results in range but that doesn't necessarily mean optimal.
