Has anyone had a problem with cramp I keep getting it in my toes but last night it was in my lower leg and boy did it hurt to a point where it hurts now to walk? I'm assuming it will get better the more I walk but it was so painful just wondered what could be causing it? xx

Low magnesium is a possibility. Why not try taking some?
I agree.....magnesium can definately help....you can buy a magnesium spray too and spray it right on where the muscles are cramping to stop it...also Epsom salt baths help.
Yes I used to get it badly in my calves at night but if I take magnesium I don't get it. I take Magnesium Malate (Magnesium Citrate gives me the runs!), 1 tablet with my evening meal (425 mg) but you can take a larger dose if need be. Not all forms of Magnesium are readily absorbed so be careful which one you buy - Citrate, Malate, Taurate, Glycinate are all easily absorbed, don't get the oxide form as it isn't. Hope that helps!
I thought maybe magnesium thank you ππ where would we be without this forum!! x
Yes....I have regular cramps and other similar leg and foot pains and strange sensations.
It's a nightmare all I get from my doctor is you can't say everything is attributed to your Thyroid aggggg!! xxx
