I have a full print out of the results I had done in April. Just had another test done today. I know what the antibodies and TSH is but that's about it. Can anyone tell me all the other jargon? Thanks

Others will respond re your results but I will say you need to increase B12 up to around 1,000. You can do this by buying methylcobalamin B12 sublingual tablets. I've found Amazon has the best selection and if you use this link for anything you buy on internet Thyroiduk.org.uk get a very small rewards.
Hi Nicki. It looks like your good and bad cholesterol levels look ok! Everything listed under U and E investigation is to do with your kidneys. All of this looks to be within range, the range is the bit in brackets providing your results are within this range you should be ok. Looks like your folic acid levels are low. Has your GP spoken to you about your results? Hope this helps. X
Thanks Jodelights. I've been on folic acid for 3 months and have an gp appointment on Tuesday.
Just for information - there is no such thing as good and bad cholesterol. Cholesterol is a chemical so cannot be both bad and good. HDL = High Density Lipoprotein and LDL = Low Density Lipoprotein. So yes it is a protein that transports cholesterol in and out of the liver. Good and Bad was thought up by the Publicists for the Pharmaceutical companies to capture the imagination of the public when trying to frighten them into taking Statins
