Hi I am taking part in a study as a volunteer subject at a university hospital in London on the effectiveness of Beetroot Juice to aid hypertension. Many journals chronicle the link between Thyroid disorder and hypertension so I am guessing there are quite a few good subjects here who wouldn't mind participating in the research, like me. If you want to help the study and would be interested please private message me for details.
Btw, This research study looks at the relationship between beetroot juice and its blood pressure lowering effects.
This study might be suitable for those whose blood pressure are not under control. Volunteers should be on at least one medication for high blood pressure.
Accepting all volunteers aged 18-80. Not suitable for people with diabetes. Additional medical conditions will be screened by the research doctors to assess eligibility.

Good luck

It might help people know whether or not to contact you if you edit your post to include details like the stated age range, gender, any excluded diagnoses etc. etc. for volunteers?
I would be interested, had read about beetroot juice lowering blood pressure, and have been drinking it for a couple of months, as yet no significant reduction, already on two tablets, and others prescribed have given me terrible side effects. Also take t3and t4.
I am not totally convinced that the non movement in your blood pressure is due to taking beetroot juice. That's a bit like saying I put a bit of unleaded fuel in my diesel engine but because I put the diesel in (car takes diesel, btw) it will be ok. No!! The problem might be the T3. It was for me. Details follow for the study in next message.
I wasn't told it would have a bearing on it but evidence of my own situation and how my body instantly reacted to it as I am on the ball with my hypertension taking daily readings for the hospital. It peaked very high at one stage and I had a turn on holiday which put me in another hospital for two nights under observation.
