Zara1989,

Yes, it is. You can raise ferritin by supplementing iron which should be taken with 1,000mg vitamin C to aid absorption and minimise constipation. Take iron 4 hours away from Levothyroxine and retest 4-6 months after you start supplementing.

Heavy periods can also be a clinical symptom of not being on sufficient levothyroxine.

Have you had recent blood tests you can post, with th ranges?

TSH <0.02 (0.2 - 4.2)

FT4 19.3 (12 - 22)

FT3 4.3 (3.1 - 6.8)

150mcg levothyroxine and 20mcg T3

Have contemplated stopping my dose because symptoms and hormone levels are not improving but members on here have talked me out of it.

I'm having same issue with ferritin but no longer having heavy periods. I started taking stomach acid HCL and that helps digest my food. I'm also going to start freezing liver and taking it in a pill form because I don't like taste. Try those and look into a progesterone deficiency. Don't stop your meds. Your levels look way better than mine. The worst mistake I ever made was cutting my dose I half. It sent me down a dark unwell spiral.
