Hi All,

Currently on Progesterone / Estroil cream...... symptoms are currently changing, now having sessions of uncontrollable crying ... Is this a symptom of too much Estroil (Estrogen) or Progesterone ?

Anyone any ideas

Thanks

Yx

Some people report mood changes with progesterone while others find it calming.

Estriol is such a week estrogen that I find it unlikely to be the culprit. Having said that hormonal imbalances overall can affect mood.

Yvette,

I cried everyday last year & suffered depression.

My trigger was optimising T3 thyroid hormone without considering sex hormones.

Having sorted other health issues, all that was left was sex hormones & a test confirmed both O & P were rock bottom.

Starting bio-identical HRT alleviated all remaining symptoms. I know you are already replacing sex hormones.

Maybe you should consider T3 levels ?

I'd change the brand that your using, it may be synthetic in nature. Could be messing you up. I use serenity.
