Autoimmune profile

I'm checking back through blood tests looking to see if I have ever been tested for Hashi's as don't actually know, despite having problems for 35 yrs and being treated for 25yrs. Now on T3 only.

Does anyone know what Autoimmunity profile (43GG) refers to? Is this definitely related to thyroid antibodies?

UrsaP,

No, you need Thyroid peroxidase and/or thyroglobulin antibodies.

Thanks Clutter I just didn't know what this 'Autoimmunity Profile' might include - very vague. Think I'm going to ask to see my file, just see if ever tested for thyroid antibodies specifically.
