I am on the PA site and having B12 injections. However I am suffering from tiredness, hair loss, weight gain and various other symptoms. I have just had my blood tests done and it was suggested that I let you look at these results for your comments re thyroid. I attach them below.
Many thanks in anticipation.

TSH >2 indicates your thyroid is beginning to struggle but FT4 14.9 is pretty normal for someone not taking thyroid replacement. NHS won't usually diagnose hypothyroidism until either TSH is >5.5 or FT4 <12.0.
Supplementing 200mcg selenium can be good thyroid support.
Thank you Clutter for replying to me, I began to think I was not going to hear. So much appreciated and I note your comments and will go on the labtest site and have a look.
I have B12 injections every three months but have been experiencing symptoms, which were like B12 deficiency, so wondered if something else, I.e. thyroid was going on. So you have put my mind at ease.
I think it has to do with the B12, as the PA administrator thinks my B12 test result should be higher than it was showing.
Thyroid symptoms can precede abnormal results by months/years. There's not much you can until they are abnormal but supplementing 200mcg selenium may help boost your thyroid function a little.
I hope your GP will be amenable to more frequent B12 injections.
Thank you. I have some selenium ACE which started taking this morning as per your advice. Does it matter that it is ACE or should it be plain selenium.?
