I haven't posted on here for quite a long time. This is me in a nut shell

Hypothyroid 100mg levo

Ankylosing Spondylitis I have been taken off Naproxen

Ectopic beats Bisoprolol 1.25mg

Blood pressure that can spike to 215/110 Lisinopril 10mg

I don't feel well, have been waking in the night with a very irrational heart rate with a very slow pulse down to 45 beats at times. I feel fuzzy in the head even when lying down, infact it's worse when I'm lying down on my side. It's not the same as the ectopic beat that I have had since my teens along with the AS. My BP is normal when this is happening.

I feel leaden and weary and suffering bouts of cold that make me shiver and then as little as half an hour later burning up with terrible heat that makes me feel unwell.

I feel almost like I'm getting flu with soreness in my joints but only when I touch them i.e. Ribs elbows shoulder blades.

I saw a new doctor and he is trying to help me. I have had an ECG at the surgery, although I just knew it would not show anything. I've had more bloods done waiting for results.

I have a lot of different things going on that makes it more comp,ex as some are interconnected. I can't remember the last time I felt truly well.

I should add I am only about half a stone over weight I've never smoked and don't drink. I do yoga class twice a week.

Sorry to ramble just needed to get it off my chest.

As you say it's difficult for you to distinguish what is causing what when there is a lot going on.could it be your AS is flaring sure you know that can cause fluey feeling joint pain temperature fluctuations etc.unless the AS is really mild to come off naproxen is good yes? Are you on any form of anti TNF enbril, humera or anything similar although good they can cause such symptoms too.then again could be thyroid issues.do you have any blood results ?sorry can't be of help much but do hope you find some relief and help soon.

Daisymoo, did your doctor ever check FT4 and FT3? It's not enough to go on TSH.

You really do sound undermedicated - high blood pressure, low pulse - those are symptoms of under medication.

If the doctor didn't check - and won't - could you afford to get them tested yourself?

The pains you experience in different areas when you touch them sounds like the tender areas of fibromyalgia. Ask your doctor about the possibility. It's important to remember more than one autoimmune condition can exist at the same time. Have you had your vit D levels checked? If not optimal it can cause a lot of pain.

Not what you're looking for?
