When to get a blood test

I'm changing from Nutri Thyroid to NDT. Does anyone know how long I should wait before I get my bloods tested.

6 to 8 weeks is the usual, it takes that long for the t4 to convert so you get a true picture of what the dose you are on is doing. Or so I am told :)

6-8 weeks after you are on what you estimate is an optimal dose.

Also, I've just noticed some posts recommend a fasting blood test, but I've never fasted for mine before. So is it best to do the same as previously?

U w alwYsxine fasting blood tests for everything as some tests you have to go that so try to be consistent. Also if testi g for thyroid eating Kiera TSH and the last thing we want is doctor being worried about that and lowering meds!
