Goitre making me feel sick

Had anyone else had or got this? A large footer appeared on my neck on Tuesday. It's got bigger and slightly smaller since but today it's really pressing on my throat and making me gag (hate things touching my throats anyway)..any advise welcome! TIA x

I think you should pop along to the A&E.

Really? I haven't been sick. I saw my doctor when It first came up Tuesday and they've ordered an ultrasound for me but since then it feels in/on my throat more

It is up to you to decide what's best. It must be extremely uncomfortable.

Get going to the docs asap and get it sorted. It can constrict your breathing and give you pneumonia at the very least which is deadly unless your general health is good.

If you have disliked having your throat touched this shows you have had the problem for a while. Do not ignore this in the hope it will go away, 'cos it won't!

I've decided to get back to the docs again. I've ordered some private blood tests as the tested me and came back as TSH normal but I have autoimmune thyroiditis (which still isn't making much sense to me). The doc said this sometimes goes away which others have said it won't so lord knows what's going on but it's not fun!x

I know nothing much about Hashimoto's so can offer no help at all there. Having myself been subject to years of nonsense from doc, reckon it would be far more sensible to believe what others on forum know about this disease rather than a doctor who probably knows virtually nothing.
